Finding God in all things
We come together as a body on Sunday mornings but it is also important to connect with one another in other ways and find ways in which we can serve our communities. Small groups are a great way to grow and build deeper, more meaningful relationships. Volunteer opportunities are a great way to serve others. Some ideas for ways to get involved are listed here.
If you have any questions or are interested in starting a small group or study please talk to Terry or Jean.
Men's Events
"As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another!" Proverbs 27:17
Discipleship and brotherhood is important for our growth. Encouraging one another to become more like Jesus. Not necessarily so that we all try and walk on water!! But that we live our lives the way Jesus would live them if he were us! So we look for opportunities for this to happen. We try and pursue this in two particular ways - intentional discipleship and just spending time together having fun!
The weekly Bible Study has returned. We are meeting in Mitch's home (reach out via email to get that address), and meeting every Wednesday evening 7-9 pm.
The men stay in touch and plan their events using the WhatsApp group.
Rod McColman and Mike Hobbins are the contact people.
Ladies' Events
The ladies Bible study happens biweekly. We meet at Brandy's Residence. Reach out via email to get that address. The question "Who am I in God's eyes?" is discussed.
